Open Source community rains on Novell's parade

On Monday, March 19 2007, with assistance from Richard Stallman, community volunteers, and Pete Ashdown who was Utah's recent Democratic candidate for senator, I presented a press conference on the Novell-Microsoft agreement, across the street from Novell's Brainshare conference. Here are audio and images of the event, and an insightful blog entry by Justin Findlay and another by Aaron Toponce. Ashdown graciously introduced me. Richard Stallman gave me a statement to read verbatim, which is reproduced in Barbara Darrow's coverage at Channelweb. And the rest of what I talked about is in the audio files.

Audio and photos are cleared for press use, please be sure to attribute photos to Aaron Toponce and speech to me. A link here or to the audio/video site would be appreciated.
